Purpose of these committees is to take policy decision and implementation at the appropriate levels. These Committees work at Central, Regional and Local levels.

Central Education Committee (CEC)

Central Education Committee is composed of Chairman JBHT, Director General, all Regional Directors and Principals/Administrators of autonomous institutions. Its meeting is held annually at the Central Directorate, Islamabad to take key policy-decisions and formulate future planning.

Regional Education Committees (REC)

Regional Education Committee is composed of Regional Director, all Principals, Educationist and notables of the area (The members are approved by the CEC). The committee hold its meeting quarterly at their respective Regional Directorates to take decision for the region and recommend/suggest policy options for their region to the CEC.

Local Education Committees (LEC)

Local Education Committee is composed of the Principal of College/School, Educationist and notables of the area (Duly recommended by the REC and approved by the CEC). The Committee holds its meeting every month and take stock of the situation, ensure educational standards and financial transparency, and recommend/suggest future actions to the REC/CEC.
