All religions place high importance to education; global fora and individual states emphasise that modern education is the right of every individual. The Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan considers education as the fundamental right of every citizen. The government of Pakistan has ensured that every child must be enrolled in the school; however, government alone cannot achieve this cherished objective.

Over the years, there have emerged private schools with commercial objectives, others have established school with missionary intent. However, the Uswa Education System (UES) is a blend of modern education and moral teaching with non-commercial aim. It is unique in nature as it is community based, community owned and community monitored education system, focussed on rural, underdeveloped and underprivileged areas of Pakistan.

The UES started in 1994 from the rural area of Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan) and gradually spread all over Pakistan. It has 70 educational institutions with a vision for the state-of-the-art university in Pakistan. The UES is proud that it is contributing in the nation-building by ensuring children to be enrolled in schools. During the last 30 years, UES has produced 50,000 students to excel in various fields of professional life and higher education. At present 25,000 students are enrolled in Uswa education institutions to be trained for future challenges faced by Pakistan.

The UES is a transparent education system registered with the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) and respective Educational Boards. It follows the government approved syllabus and impart additional moral/civic teachings. The UES institutions are competing with all government and private institutions, proving their excellence by earning top positions. The UES Management is eager to convert all Uswa institutions on digital mode to be available to all regulatory bodies, donors, parents, students and prospective students.
